Weddings

1950 Mass. Ave. has been a popular, local, and affordable venue for the citizens of Cambridge and surrounding areas since its erection in 1910. It is perfectly suited to large, indoor weddings.

Today we offer a comprehensive $3,500 all-day rental rate to wedding parties with no catering requirement; you are free to bring in your own, preferred caterer. The several spaces included in our four-story venue include:

Endicott Hall for the ceremony
Carr Banquet Hall for the reception
Davis Banquet Kitchen for your chosen caterer
the Club Suite for the wedding party
the Directors’ Room, adjoining Endicott Hall
Paige Hall, adjoining Endicott Hall

Unlike other wedding venues, we do not up-charge for important necessities. Our $3,500 rate includes:

Tables (8ft longs and 5ft rounds) and banquet chairs
Use of our banquet hall sound system with wireless mics
Use of our commercial kitchen by your preferred outside caterer
On-site Event Manager to handle all facilities concerns
A dedicated usher to assist guests
Parking spaces, in addition to convenient T access

1950 Mass. Ave. is perfectly suited to the needs of large, indoor weddings, with the soaring two-story, 2914 sq/ft Endicott Hall for the ceremony—a sacred space built for the traditional ceremonies of the Freemasons—and the identically sized, two-story Carr Banquet Hall for the reception, as well as numerous additional spaces for staging, families and other wedding parties.

You are not required to use our in-house caterer, and your preferred outside vendor is invited to use the Davis Kitchen adjoining the banquet hall to serve your event.
